Mr. Peanutbutter meets Doctor Champ who tells Mr. Peanutbutter that Mr. Peanutbutter is the first friend BoJack invited to the friends and family meeting, but Mr. Peanutbutter says he doesnt remember getting an invitation. On the set of Birthday Dad, Mr. Peanutbutter is filming a scene and he gets his lines wrong. Joey says that he wanted to set up a meeting but his assistant went on strike and he doesnt know how to use a phone. BoJack responds he thought it would be with no one because he wasted the best years of her life. Mr Peanutbutter's penchant for codependency and his inability look within himself will lead him on a slow spiral of poor decision making and victimization. Let's Find Out! In The Dog Days Are Over, Diane wanders around Vietnam taking pictures and eating food. Mr. Peanutbutter intended to get another "D" but the unveiling reveals it's a "B," turning Hollywoo into "Hollywoob.". The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. When Pickles asks how can they make things right, Mr. Peanutbutter says he wants them to be even somehow. Pickles runs out of the house and onto the backyard patio and sits by the fire. He breaks down and BoJack walks away. He then tells her if she knows someone who would be good for the job to let him know. Katrina is excited to go to a real Hollywood party with him, but she makes him promise he won't leave her alone. Princess Carolyn is understandably confused but says that she'll look into getting the film rights. Flip yells cut. He then asks how Princess Carolyn manages being alone and she tells him she just takes it one day at a time. The party has ended and in their car, Diane apologizes to Mr. Peanutbutter for ruining another Halloween for him. He listens to two of them and returns home. Diane later returns home from the party tripping on a drug called Gush. Mr. Peanutbutter and Pickles get hungry, but Pickles says that restaurants are a date thing. BoJack goes to talk to Diane, but Diane tells him that her therapist doesn't want her to talk to him. He goes on to say that the people who dislike him the most are young women, much to Princess Carolyns dismay who says that young women are part of their main target demographic for Birthday Dad and she tells him that they need to juice [his] Q." In The Amelia Earhart Story, Princess Carolyn sits in front of the house and garage, both of which are depleted and long abandoned, in her car. Pickles asks, "sexy?" Mr. Peanutbutter then excused himself as Katrina had her hand down a busboy's pants. He has it removed in the following episode, Yesterdayland, where he also wants to get involved with Todd's Disneyland because he built it while working for PB Livin' and Todd, who wanted it to be his own thing, reluctantly agrees. Pickles wonders if she's a rebound. Diane ends up making a fool of herself in front of BoJack, who interrupts her and coldly tells her he's on the phone, as unbeknownst to her his mom was telling him that his father died. BoJack explains these are the clothes he went in with and didn't realize he would be going to a wedding in a year. When Mr. Peanutbutter hears her crying from downstairs he decides to go talk to her and runs upstairs while everyone except Princess Carolyn, Todd, and Ruthie quickly leave the house. She tells him as Diane can live her life whole life like pieces of a puzzle from different sets. Katrina replaced him as a candidate with Jessica Biel (his other ex-wife), who went on to lose to Woodchuck. She nervously sings the theme song. Mr. Peanutbutter and Captain Peanutbutter are excited to spend the holiday together, although whenever Diane is alone with him Captain Peanutbutter talks in a nihilistic manner to her. Mr. Peanutbutter reassures him he will be with him unless he spots his old friend Erica and notices some notable characteristic about her personality, he then questions what the odds of that happening are, making this his final appearance in the series. After they calm down, Diane says she thinks their marriage is like a magic eye poster, as at first glance, it's messy and doesn't make sense, but if you squint hard enough, everything lines up. Joey then apologizes for being awful to Pickles earlier and says since Mr. Peanutbutter has been such a good friend it would be weird having sex with his fiance but once they were in it it felt like "two naked hearts raw and exposed but safe in the home they found in each other." The episode Brrap Brrap Pew Pew begins right where the previous ended, with Diane, at the hospital with Mr. Peanutbutter, cursing at the revelation that she is pregnant. He excuses himself to go run the costume contest. On Mr. Peanutbutter's House, he wore a dark blue collared button-down shirt with a 90s-esque geometric yellow, purple, and teal pattern on it, light blue jeans, brown belt, and white sneakers with Velcro straps. Diane even outright says this to him, advising him to actually go to auditions, and get a new agent. Salinger, accidentally gets in a conference call with Diane and Princess Carolyn, and BoJack and Ana, with the latter two, are in New York when Princess Carolyn meant to put him on hold. Also, in After the Party and What Time Is It Right Now, where he upsets and angers Diane by doing grand gestures for her and giving her elaborate gifts which she tells him countless times throughout their relationship she doesn't like. Diane refuses to do this, saying it isn't right that his ex-wife should explain to his girlfriend, that he cheated on her with his ex-wife. Mr. Peanutbutter announces to the set that his mom dies and asks for support. BoJack and Gina film the nude painting scene, however, they have to cut when Mr. Peanutbutter starts shouting "Oohs" and "Aahs" for support. Diane nervously rambles about how she loved Horsin Around and how the show played a huge role in her formative years. Around this time, he was married to a woman named Katrina. Pickles Aplenty is a recurring character in Season 5 and Season 6 of BoJack Horseman. Pickles suggests her high school boyfriend Buzzy. Back in the car, BoJack asks if Mr. Peanutbutter thinks Diane is going to be there to which Mr. Peanutbutter replies that everyone will be there seeing that it's the party of the year. Diane then apologizes saying that was a weird thing to tell her ex-husband. When she picks up, he is furious she didn't call him and that he waited up all night worried about her. In a flashback, Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter have dinner at Elefante and talk about how "[they] are the best divorced couple." However, she inadvertently encourages him to keep trying when she tells him she thinks he would have been a great governor after he says even though he likes Woodchuck, he still wanted to beat him. However, Diane realizes that the notes he took were all gibberish, and he admits that he wanted to get back together with her. Mr. Peanutbutter loves honeydew, while BoJack hates it. A life of success, wealth, and fame meant Mr. Peanutbutter has never faced any real challenges or had to make difficult decisions, leaving him almost completely inept in the real world. She asks if they can plan the wedding when she comes back and he sadly tells her sure they can as it sounds like a good compromise. BoJack is deflated, but Mr. Peanutbutter accidentally mentions afterward Todd's desire to not nominate BoJack and ends the conversation by promising him "none of this matters" and leaving. After Mr. Peanutbutter walks away BoJack once again pulls out Hollyhock's unopened letter from his jacket, looks at it, and his hands shake. He threw the party for himself. Diane says that she is, but that she's in Vietnam. The next morning BoJack wakes up to Mr. Peanutbutter cooking breakfast. Diane then says if they met each other as the people they are things would be totally different between them. Princess Carolyn gets ready to drive over, to help them, while telling them not to enter the house. He attended Northwestern University. Diane says she's good in small groups and shouts that she hates parties, which interrupts the party. Meanwhile, at MBN, Pinky reveals he got promoted to head of programming, as Wanda left MBN and got hired by another network and moved to Detroit. It is also shown how nervous Mr. Peanutbutter was after he proposed to Pickles and how happy she was not knowing that he had previously cheated on her twice with his ex-wife Diane. Mr. Peanutbutter explains they are here for a press conference that is on the way to the wedding. Mr. Peanutbutter goes into the bar. She gets a text from Alexi Brosefino, a famous movie star and member of the entourage "The Snatch Batch," and how he wants her to party with him that night so that she can take Instagram pictures. In Xerox of a Xerox, At VIM, Princess Carolyn and Judah are preparing BoJack for the interview and telling him what to say when Mr. Peanutbutter walks in and asks BoJack to mention Birthday Dad in his interview and to welcome him to the MBN Thursday night family. Diane realizes he doesn't want her to go to Cordovia. In Season 6, he plays the eponymous character Birthday Dad in the show of the same name, which is a huge success. In The Face of Depression, BoJack is seen at the airport looking at the flight listings and walks past the bar where Joey Pogo is sitting with Mr. Peanutbutter. BoJack says he was shocked Princess Carolyn managed to get him out of prison for the weekend. Mr. Peanutbutter then tells BoJack he's playing Julius Caesar on the stage next door for a short film. At night, BoJack is in bed with Gina. The two say they love each other. Of course, hes on board with the idea. Mr. Peanutbutter says anytime he went to a Halloween party with Katrina, they always got in a big fight, but Jessica tells him she isn't Katrina, and they'll have fun. As viewers, we were invested in their. She says she felt really shitty after he left that night, but when Mr. Peanutbutter assumes he made her feel that way, she rants about how she always feels like garbage. Joey tells Mr. Peanutbutter that hes been trying to get in touch with him saying that he got a call from a mental health advocacy group, saying that they were jizzing their pants about Mr. Peanutbutter admitting that he struggles with depression. They reveal that they're burning the clothes, as opposed to removing the stench, because Carolyn said to "get rid" of them prior. He is one of the main characters in BoJack Horseman. He accepts and Mr. Peanutbutter rescues him when the park begins to crumble and burn down. However, BoJack is double-crossed when Mr. Peanutbutter has the 'D' delivered to his house instead and falsely confessed to stealing it as a romantic gesture for Diane. In the meat locker, Pickles asks how much longer they have to continue working with Joey. This starts an argument where Mr. Peanutbutter says that at least no one in his family has anger issues, saying that Pickles father Franco is "a hothead with a little pug complex," and that her mother more than likely provokes him on purpose, suggesting that they get off on it. Diane tells him he can either date older women or grow up, both options sir which he isn't too thrilled about. Mr. Peanutbutter then tells him he has five more scenes to shoot for the day and then after work he is going to Todd's fancy party. He first moved to Los Angeles in the late 80s or early 90s, where he ended up co-piloting the plane that brought him to California, which happened purely because he walked into a room without looking. Unbeknownst to him, while Diane was talking to him she had just returned to LA and was at the airport, as she couldn't handle the realities of war-torn Cordovia or Sebastian's ego. He notices that the thunder room door is open and he closes it unknowingly trapping Eduardo inside. As Woodchuck is an experienced skier, Mr. Peanutbutter loses the race. Mr. Peanutbutter expresses concern, that he and Diane may end up getting a divorce if any more fights break out between themand asks for help removing the skunk scent before she returns home. Upon learning of this, BoJack decides to hire Character Actress Margo Martindale to stage a bank robbery to steal Diane's engagement ring when she and Mr. Peanutbutter are set to go to the bank, hoping to cause a rift between them by taking away a symbol of their relationship. Princess Carolyn tells him that he isn't tough enough for the role. Stefani then emphasizes that Mr. Peanutbutter will probably not listen to Diane, as usual, and that as much as they love each other, he still would never understand her opinion on the matter while she could have actual people read about her thoughts. The wedding is then decided to be held at the restaurant BoJack owns on BoJack's suggestion so he has a better vantage to sabotage the wedding. Diane gained massive backlash over bringing up these details, despite the fact they had been public for years, as Hank is beloved and as a result, no one wants to believe he is capable of doing bad things. Everyone gets up and hugs him, to BoJack's annoyance. Before leaving, Katrina asked Mr. Peanutbutter to not leave her alone during the party, as she didn't know anyone there, and Mr. Peanutbutter agreed. He doesn't seem to take into mind their individual personalities and needs. Katrina winds up doing this, forcing Woodchuck to accept the challenge. This puts a damper on the mood, and Pickles says that they should just finish their meal and then head to watch the explosion. When BoJack is helping Diane move into her new apartment she invites him to come with her to Mr. Peanutbutter's housewarming party. After her divorce, Diane tries to reconnect with her Vietnamese heritage by taking a trip to Vietnam . In The Stopped Show, Mr. Peanutbutter goes to visit Diane, wanting to talk about how they had sex after the Philbert premier. In the 90s he had a tuft of wavy hair. Mr. Peanutbutter thinks he knows about something between him and Diane, but BoJack doesn't. Joey offers to go into business with him and Mr. Peanutbutter takes the offer. It was PB taking something of hers and making it without her. After abandoning their first idea of a Halloween store during January, Mr. Peanutbutter throws a large launch party for "Smoodies" (a mood you can drink) at his house without an actual product behind the idea. He's glad he knows she hates parties and they won't ever have that argument ever again. Todd reluctantly agrees. Flea Daniels subsequently pulls the plug on Birthday Dad, much to Mr. Peanutbutter's dismay, and tells him to go home. Mr. Peanutbutter says they need to think of someone. He asks her if she's okay because the other night she left his party crying. Salinger. Pickles then calls him, and he asks how it went with Carl. Mr. Peanutbutter points out, that BoJack is a damaged person battling a lot of demons, and it would mean a lot to him if they mentioned him. Season 3 shows that Mr. Peanutbutter and Diane's marriage has become strained due to Diane not immediately coming home after leaving Cordovia, and as such they make constant phone calls with them assuring each other they understand their feelings and Diane assuring him her location and when she'll be home, as he now gets worried when he doesn't know where she is.
